    The channels FX,Showcase,and Syfy are my favourite until they are all available on Fetch Tv I will stick with Foxtel.
    Please note I hate advertising as it makes viewing a show unviewable. So I usually record a show and watch it latter by FF through any advert.
    Advertising should only be after the end of one show and before the beginning of the next show.
    The viewer should always have the option not to watch any advert and also not have any advert data using their data limit.

    Please advise the functionality of Fetch when TVs are smart. The TV seems to have all the functions of Fetch. I have a Fetch but want to know the difference it can make if any with my smart TV.

    When will NBN be available in my area 2566 NSW??? I have been waiting for it so I can change my iinet account to NBN and have Fetch TV. Also we want multi room so will need a Mighty and a Mini from what I have been told, do you also offer the Mighty box???

    I have the fetch mini set top box , but only have the movies this costs me $5, I had the whole lot,which cost me $25 a month but as i was not using it for a time I removed it. Question is I hope to get the lot again, will it cost me $20 a month total as you advertise, been a customer a looooong time. Also how can I record some of the shows??? The remote has a record button ???? I can record on foxtel but want to get rid of that and just have fetch….I would prefer to have Fetch suits my pensioner budget better, but I would like to record. Happy otherwise……

      Good question! If you are wanting to use your Fetch TV service to record shows you will need to get the Fetch Mighty Set Top Box. Our Sales (13 19 17) team will be able to assist with answering any questions you may have and walking you through the sign up.

    You do not say in this article what the bandwidth requirement is I.e. can I run Fetch on an ADSL 2+ connection. I am presently using a laptop computer connected to TV set to seamlessly watch catch up TV on SBS.

      The Fetch Mini is unable to record due to it not containing a Personal Video Recorder hard drive. If you do need this, the Fetch Mighty unit is available through our Sales team on 13 19 17.

    This does not apply to existing VDSL2 customer no matter how long you are with iiNet. It sucks.

    I recently opened an account with iiNet including Fetch but received only a modem … no Fetch box. Am I missing something here? I phoned last week and after chatting for an hour with someone, it was suggested that I get a call back which never happened. Not impressed right now.

    Careful when you order a Fetch box mini and there are problems as customer service is well below par. I cannot get any sound when streaming despite trying numerous technical options in addition to those suggested by Fetch support and have now been waiting since 23/2 for a resolution. Nothing’s happening except my toolbox showing that customer service staff seem to be playing ping-pong with responsibility for the task. They haven’t even been able to answer the rather basic question whether BBC First and UKTV are streaming channels or pay TV.

      Thanks for reaching out. This is concerning to hear, as we’d expect this to be advanced to our Fetch team on 1300 701 006 for them to address this. Have you been able to make direct contact with our Fetch team for assistance?

      All channels on Fetch are streamed to you – BBC First and UKTV form part of the Variety pack which can be chosen as part of package.

    to whom this may concern,I have two questons for you, we changed over to N.B.N.through you as our server, I see we are paying for the telephone ,I was on the under standing that the telephone is part of the nbn service not as a extra cost. question 2 also when we signed up I also was on the under standing that we were also supposed to get the Flech package also,after reading the above comnents I thought I would ask these Questions,been buging me for a while now.

    I have been quoted telephone line included but all calls billed !

    I think calls should be included (as they are simply using the NBN as carrier , but I doubt they are.

      Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’ve since amended the comment! It does depend on what NBN plan you are on as to what is included, some of our base plans are pay as you go calls. If you make a lot of calls it may be worth upgrading to have calls included within the monthly cost. Take a look here:

    I received the fetch box 3 and a half weeks ago and are still waiting for it to be activated, I have rang twice and are getting nowhere with customer service what a joke. Seems my last comment was deleted I should have stayed with foxtel

We’d encourage getting back in contact with our Support (13 22 58) team to confirm the status of the activation. If you aren’t satisfied with the proposed resolution/update provided, best to request to speak with a Senior or Customer Service Manager during the interaction as they’ll be able to case manage this moving forward.
