What’s new on Freezone?

wallace-gromit

It’s definitely been all systems go since we gave Freezone an awesome facelift in September. As promised, we’ve made you tap your feet and bop your head with London Live and brought you the award-winning work of Aardman Animation. The fun never stops though, so we’ve been hard at work with more content for all to enjoy.

Sport, sport and more sport!

We’ve got a great slew of summer sports ready to bring straight to you from Freezone. For all the basketball fans out there – we’ll be bringing you action from the 2012/13 NBL season LIVE on a weekly basis from across Australia and New Zealand. If you can’t make the action live, then never fear. Freezone will have the full replays of matches upon their completion.

If you’re a lover of baseball – you can catch all the Perth Heat games live from their home field at the Barbagallo Ballpark. In addition to live games, you can also catch up on highlights, replays and ’90 Feet of Heat’. Be sure to keep a look out for more ABL teams heading to Freezone over the coming weeks.

Radio refresh coming soon

We’ve also put the finishing touches on a new look to Freezone’s radio portal. Home to over 180 stations covering all of your favourite music genres, there’s also a massive selection of channels from the ABC. Freezone’s new radio portal not only makes listening your favourite stations easier, but makes navigation a breeze.

What’s new from accessreel.com

Freezone’s home to all the latest movie trailers, interviews and featurettes is accessreel.com.

We’ve got your first sneak peek at Iron Man 3 as well as the trailers for some great upcoming films including the remake of the horror classic Carrie and Andy Samberg in Celeste and Jesse Forever. We’ve also got great featurettes for films including Argo, the latest acclaimed film from director Ben Affleck, and a behind-the-scenes look at the latest James Bond blockbuster, Skyfall.

Readers of this blog will also know we’ve been running a fantastic Dredd 3D giveaway. We’ve decided to keep this competition open for another week to give more people the chance to be in the running to win one of 10 awesome Dredd 3D prize packs. That’s not all though; 20 runners-up will receive an in season double pass to see Dredd 3D thanks to Ubisoft and Icon Films. Dredd 3D is in cinemas now.

Exclusive to Freezone users, head to Freezone and watch the Dredd 3D trailer and click through the links to enter this awesome competition.

Hi Rob This in response to your mail regarding VIP invite for Fetch TV to which I replied. It has been a month I have not had any confirmation from your team, this is not VIP in any way. I was given a ref no. 149911111. Spoken to few members and team leaders. Thanks

This is currently being dealt with in that reference number and internally. Someone should have been in contact with you about this.

    Regards,
    Adam

Love to See SBS and other Catchup TV channels added to Freezone and OH please please please archive.org. I know SBS was being looked into at the beginning of the year, but it sorta went cold.

All the other changes are good too.
Keep up the good work in there.

    @Arvid,
I second the motion SBS would be excellent!

disappointed NO 6PR radio station anymore

  4. This is a new learning curve for me because until a couple of days ago, when a very helpful westnet mobile technician suggested I look at freezone, I didn’t know it existed.
A very interesting site with lots to look at. I don’t know how the average jack or jill had time to go to work.

  5. it should be a good movie

Fantastic news that iiNet are adding Australian baseball to the world of Freezone.

Thanks for the iiSuport for a fantastic sport.

Hey What happened to melbourne radio station Magic 1278 I could get it before you updated the Freezone web page

    John Reply:

I agree Jane. I live in QLD and Magic was my favourite station. I even sent in a complaint, was given a Ref. number and still got no reply. As Greg said earlier there needs to be some more content for the older subscribers (not that Im assuming your old just because you’re a Magic 1278 fan)

    Hi Rob
I love ABC’s iView; would be even better if SBS documentaries were also on Freezone.
    Thanks

Guys, I’m sure I’m not alone in being on the shady side of 50 and well past the bang-bang-you’re-dead Hollywood rubbish that is aimed at the tweens.
Do you think you could put your minds to adding some value for us “oldies” who are also paying customers of IINet.

All sounds good, especially sbs documentaries and another thought would be UKTV for all the great dramas they seem to get and 13th street for all the people who cant get Foxtel and
Rugby live would be excellent as the followers are certainly
    getting bigger. Cheers Marg

The only sports that would interest me right now in the Freezone would be soccer. There was a time we could watch the Premier League but unfortunately that’s gone:) If that’s not possible why not show the Italian or Spanish League? Even the German League would be nice. In fact any European soccer league in the freezone would be better than baseball, sailing, water polo or even basketball, no offense to the Wildcats which I wish the best.
