ESPN comes to iiNet TV with Fetch!

We love providing fresh content to our iiNet TV with Fetch customers. We love it even more when this fresh content just happens to be from one of the world’s most popular television networks.

Until the end of May, all iiNet TV customers with our Entertainment package will find themselves with two new channels as we welcome ESPN and ESPN2 to the family.
For sports nuts, the addition of these two channels is like a birthday present each and every day of the year. Your home to the very best in US and International sports, ESPN aren’t lying when they tell you they’re the “Worldwide Leader in Sports”.

So… which sports are we talking about?

With ESPN and ESPN2, you’ll find yourself immersed in live action from the NBA (just in time for this season’s playoffs), Major League Baseball, FA Cup and Champions League Football, International Rugby, ATP Tennis and more! If you’re an NFL fan, you’ll be able to tune into the most comprehensive coverage of the NFL Draft. Add to that all the extreme action of the X Games and you’ve got wall-to-wall sport across two new channels.

If that’s not enough, ESPN also brings you the very latest in sports news, with their flagship Sportscenter program airing across the day, plus an amazing slate of documentaries. If that sounds like too much content to cram into one day then never fear, simply record the program to your iiNet TV set-top box and watch at your convenience.

This trial is available to all iiNet TV customers with our Entertainment package on either of our first or second generation set-top boxes, and comes to you at no extra cost to your monthly iiNet TV subscription.

You’ll find ESPN and ESPN2 located on channels 102 and 103 of your EPG. Enjoy!

Bond… lots of James Bond

If ESPN and ESPN2 weren’t enough, film buffs will be having a field day from Wednesday, 27 March when all 22 James Bond films come to iiNet TV including the latest blockbuster in the series, Skyfall.

From Dr. No right through Skyfall, we’ll have all of the Bond films available on pay-per-view. No matter if you think Sean Connery reigned supreme, or that George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton were underrated, you can sit back and watch all of Bond’s adventures as he battles foe after dastardly foe.

The addition of the James Bond catalogue to the iiNet TV library of films means that customers have over 1700 films to sit back and choose from. It’s where the latest and greatest new releases sit side-by-side with the classics of yesteryear from Hollywood’s most legendary studios.

A lot is happening with iiNet TV – and with further huge announcements coming soon, there’s no better time to stay tuned.

Happy viewing!

  1. Sachin Parti says:

Why don’t you bring in Star Sports in the Indian Entertainment Package (Taj Mahal).

    • Adam O'grady says:

      Hi Sachin,

Our Content team and FetchTV is always on the lookout for new stuff to add to iiNet TV with Fetch however it can depend on being able to get a license for it. I’ll pass on your feedback though.

  2. Conor Buckley says:

I don’t have the REntertainment package as Westnet say that it is only available when connected to their own exchange or switch in the exchange. Through no fault of my own, I cannor have ESPN. SP please stop the teasing promos!!!!

    • Adam O'grady says:

      Hi Conor Buckley,

We are sorry to hear that we can’t currently provide the Entertainment package to your local area. This is something we are working on, we try to install our equipment in as many exchanges as we can and upgrade it to make sure it’s Entertainment package-compatible. In some areas though there isn’t enough room in the exchange, or a lack of cooling/power equipment which prevents us from expanding to new areas.

  3. Rob Rickaby says:

So what Will ESPN cost after the end of May, if we wished to stay tuned?

    • Adam O'grady says:

      Hi Rob Rickaby,

The Entertainment package including ESPN will cost $29.95 per month after the trail period ends. Alternatively, you can have Entertainment package without ESPN for $20 per month.

  4. Renae says:

Hey it would be great if we had the latest releases on fetch!
Also how about a few free movies (decent ones) now & then.
Don’t mind paying a bit extra per month!

  5. Arthur Sternaras says:

Please try and get Greek TV in your world package.

    • Natalie Marinho says:

      Hi Arthur,

Thanks for your feedback, we will pass it on to the iiNet TV with Fetch team.

      Natalie (Communications Officer, iiNet)

  6. Tej says:

I am currently subscribing to Entertainment Package. ESPN and ESPN2 are no longer available. Now when I press the ‘green’ button to add them, it “misleadingly” says that Entertainment Plus replaces previously offered Entertainment Package and the subscription fee is $19.95 per month.

Where is that $29.95/month charge like Adam’s mentioned above?

I need at least one proper sports channel on the “Entertainment” package.

    • Tal Waterhouse says:

      Hi Tej,

Your IPTV package when changed will consist of the standard package for $10/month and the additional $19.95/month for the Entertainment Plus pack totalling $29.95 per month.

More information about the new plans can be found on our site –

If you have any other concerns about the changes involved and billing of any services, our billing team are available 24/7 on 13 22 58.

  7. Lionel Wu says:

Hi, I have been with IINET for almost 2 years and my entertainment package was removed completely in late Oct 2013 after I have requested to have the entertainment plus deactivated after it was added onto my service without my consent by one of IINET’s representative.
At this stage, I have no other channels beyond channel 100.
