Source Code – When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he’s ever known, he learns he’s part of a government experiment called the Source Code, a program that enables him to cross over into another man’s identity in the last eight minutes of his life.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. It all ends here.

Bridesmaids – Kristen Wiig leads the cast as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian, and a group of colorful bridesmaids on a wild ride down the road to matrimony. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she’ll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you’ll go for someone you love.

TV time
What’s Eating You? – This series reveals a range of haunting stories as it explores the dangerous world of severe eating disorders. From compulsive binging, to eating chalk and rubbish, the behaviors featured are more than bizarre, they’re deadly. In each episode a doctor, therapist and nutritionist will work together as a team, to help those too sick to help themselves. Available Mondays at 8.30pm on Discovery Home & Health (Channel 132).

HARDtalk – The TV show asks the difficult questions and gets behind the stories that make the news – from international political leaders to entertainers; from corporate decision-makers to ordinary individuals facing huge challenges. The main presenter of HARDtalk is Stephen Sackur, one of the BBC’s most respected journalists. Available weekdays at 3.30pm and 8.30pm on BBC World News (Channel 180).

FOX Sports News and Views – Upcoming guests include Mark Bosnich, Brendon Julian, Brett Ogle, Mark Rudan, Mark Waugh and many more. Available nightly at 9pm on FOX SPORTS NEWS (Channel 101).

To make things a little easier to manage during the silly season, we’re also excited to announce Fetchtv has launched its very own smartphone app which gives you the ability to record your favourite shows, plan a quiet night in and watch the latest movie trailers while on the go. When you’re at home the app has full remote control functionality, so there’s no need to fret about losing the remote… again.

The app is free and a cinch to get a hold of, just search “fetchtv” in the Apple App store, or else it will soon be available in our very own iiNet Freezone app. Android users sit tight; your version will be ready early 2012. For more on the app, click here to visit the fetchtv app webpage.
