  1. Does iiNet sell or supply mobile phones with the plan depending on the number of Gigabytes required?

  2. giuliano cerin says:

is the bizphone an equivalent to the Telstra commnader system adn is it NBN compatible?

if so I may be interested

    • Brianna Burgess says:

      Hi Giuliano,

The BizPhone is compatible with NBN and is our recommended Business VoIP Solution. It is a little bit different as it is a VPBX service, but it requires very little configuration on your end – simply connect the handset to a router and you’re good to go. Unlike a standard PBX, you have the option of configuring and customizing your own set up online whenever you please. Also has a stack of included features available.
We can arrange for a Representative to give you a buzz to discuss this further? Let us know.

      – Brianna

  3. Paul says:

Does this also include connection to the internet?

  4. Shannon says:

What kind of internet speed will I need to ensure the quality of the calls. In my location internet speeds are under 3mbps due to the physical lines and distance from exchange. Surfing the net is slow enough, would the phone calls be ok?

    • Leo Yarnold says:

      Hi Shannon,

For a single number VoIP service, VoIP only needs around 128kbps to work and most VoIP devices will set aside this amount of data from your connection so that you can use the service. In your case, as you’re connecting at around 3Mbps, you’ll be just fine.

      – Leo

  5. Fernando says:

If I want to connect multiple phone on only one incoming line, do I plug the one phone line to router, the plug two or three phones to router. If so can we only make one call at a time?

    • Brianna Burgess says:

Each handset needs to be connected to the router or have access to the internet, Fernando. As each phone has its own phone number they are not tied to the same usage and are independent. Let us know if you have any further questions!

      – Brianna

  6. Does this have an answer phone service included

  7. Prof D Moyes says:

my nbn phone with iinet is
useless!! fading regularly cutting out regularly!! Ringing once regularly. and you want me to put money into a fancy receiver system

    • Brianna Burgess says:

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Netphone (VoIP) service. You can configure options such as the ring length before diverting to voicemail in your Toolbox:

As the Netphone (VoIP) is reliant on an active connection to make and receive calls, if it is dropping out this may indicate your broadband service is also. We’d recommend reporting to our Support (13 22 58) team so we can work toward a resolution with you.

      – Brianna

    • Leo Yarnold says:

      Hi James,

Our Business Team can help via 13 86 89. As a caveat, you mentioned an emergency button. Please be aware that we don’t offer Priority Assistance for landlines and if you need a line for emergency purposes, we strongly recommend move the voice service to a provider that does (like the incumbent).

      – Leo

  9. Pat says:

Bizphone is the most useless system, got conned into a 2 year contract and we lasted with it for approx. 2 months. iiNet said it would do everything we require for our business, IT DOES NOT. We have had to buy a new phone system and box the Bizphone and have to wait out or pay out the contract. DO NOT GET CONNED INTO THIS SYSTEM IT IS USELESS FOR BUSINESS

    • Josh McKenzie says:

      Hi Pat,

Sorry to hear that the Bizphone wasn’t the solution that you were looking for for your businesses needs. We’d be happy to have the situation looked into further. If you’d like to shoot us an email to with what you were hoping out of the service and where it fell short, we’ll ensure that the matter is seen to with our business team to help reach a resolution with you.
