While some may not love the gloomy winter weather, there’s no denying that spending a day rugged up on the couch with a comfy blanket and your fave woolly socks isn’t so bad when it’s spent watching movies with the soft pitter-patter of rain on the window.
That being said – how do you choose which one to watch first? Some movies have iconic rain scenes whereby the main characters somehow manage to still look beautiful even though they’re soaked through – although from my experience, this isn’t realistic! Others are just great movies that are easy to sit back and relax to thanks to their easy watching. Next time you’re looking for things to do indoors on a rainy day, check out the 25 titles below recommended by the iiTeam for your viewing enjoyment.

I get Westnet via satellite and am not sure if the download speed is sufficient for movies without timing out. Can you advise please.
Depending on the reply, what is the best deal on a bundle you can give me?
Hi Phil,
Fetch isn’t recommended for use on Satellite due to the amount of data it can use (as this isn’t Freezone), as well as the inherent latency that Satellite connections have.

Rebecca.
Alfred Hitchcock
The movies you promote are all more than 20 years old and American. It’s just so middle of the road its boring.
Hello,
Garden State is awesome movie for rainy day.

Shubham
Re-runs ? They are free on free view.
How about something new?
the blue max?
SO so OLD. WHO wants to spend their time watching OLDIES?
How is FETCH installed?
when will you give us unlimited data on satellite as it is incredibly slow and no where near the standard it should be?
why do our city cousins get all the best deals and us poor country folk miss out all the time?
Hi Andrew,
Sadly, unlimited data plans on NBN Sky muster Satellite simply aren’t possible at this time, due to the restrictions that NBN has placed on the service and its data use.

Not one of your 10 movies do I want to watch .They are American and seem to be aimed at the under 21s who probable saw them a few years ago during their school holidays. Don’t you have any English ones with a well written script?
watch a real tear jerk but excellent movie today called Megan Leavy..
I went through the Fetch movies as I was offered a free one and I could not find one I wanted to watch or had not already seen! We need a better selection!
Affair to Remember
The Goonies is by far my favorite rainy day movie. Raining cats and dogs right now and enjoying it immensely. Usually bring it out (VHS -lol) about every 3 years.
Want to add to my last comment about people complaining about old movies – some old movies never lose their appeal. Neither do some old people, I’m in my 70s.
These are all American Movies available anywhere and everywhere.
When SBS TV was a functioning entity they used to show mainly non American movies from Europe, Asia, and Africa .
However they do not do this anymore and show ,if any movies at all, mainly American movies.
Please bring back the European, Asian and African movies
