Voting now open for TopGeek 2.0

The TopGeek 2.0 competition is heating up with just over a week until the entry deadline and we’ve just made things a whole lot more interesting.

Voting is now open and there are five, that’s right FIVE, spots for each category (art, tech, Internet, game and fandom) that will make it into the Top 50 as the People’s Choice TopGeek finalists. That means our entrants have 25 chances to land themselves in the final by securing as many votes as possible.

So get your online armies into action by spreading the word on your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, YouTube, forums, among your friends, family and anywhere else you can think of for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to a geeky convention of choice up to the value of $10,000.

If you’ve got a geeky friend, why not nominate them as well.

TopGeek 2.0 will see those with a powerful online following go head to head with the most talented geeks in the country.

To enter, simply head to the TopGeek web page and show us your geeky side.

If you need a bit of help working out what type of geek you are – head here.
